Five Days in Provence Tour

Five Day Provence Tour from Paris

Price: $1,850 per person. Two persons minimum.

Departure Time: Before 10:00 a.m.

Duration: 5 days

Meeting Point: Tour meets at the Avignon TGV station.

Availability: Available for departure any day from Paris. Please enter the date you’d like to arrive in Avignon for day one of the tour.

A supplement of $150 per night applies to single rooms and solo travelers. Minimum of 2 persons per booking.

Rail to/from Paris not included in price.

Five Days in Provence Itinerary

Below is the full itinerary for our five day Provence tour from Paris. Enjoy!

Day 1 – Welcome to Provence

Transfer from Avignon rail station to your hotel. Four star Hotel de L’Horloge or similar. Check-in and dinner on your own.

Day 2 – Avignon

Breakfast at your hotel (included).

Enjoy the morning at your own pace. At 12:30 you’ll meet for lunch (included without drinks) at a gastronomic restaurant in Avignon. After, you’ll embark on a private walking tour of Avignon. Entrance fees to the Pope’s Palace and the St. Benezet bridge included.

Evening and dinner on your own.

Day 3 – Aix en Provence and the Luberon

Breakfast at your hotel (included).

Meet your guide at the hotel for a private full day tour of Aix en Provence and the Luberon region. Wine tasting included. Option to add truffle lunch available.

Day 4 – Van Gogh and Les Halles

Breakfast at your hotel (included).

Let’s get cooking. Meet your chef/guide at the covered market in Avignon. Enjoy a cooking class followed by lunch.

After lunch, enjoy a private half-day tour of the towns of Arles and St. Remy de Provence. Walk in the footsteps of Van Gogh.

Day 5 – Châteauneuf-du-Pape and Lavender

Breakfast at your hotel (included) and check out.

Enjoy a private full-day tour to the Lavender Museum in the village of Coustellet and a visit to the legendary Châteauneuf-du-Pape vineyards. Two wine cellar visits included.

Lunch at Châteauneuf-du-Pape (without drinks) included.

Transfer to the Avignon rail station for your TGV back to Paris.

With a 3 hour train ride each way, plus some the of gems of Provence being reachable via an additional van ride, you’ll need at least one night’s hotel locally to enjoy the region.

Rail tickets are not included in the price of your tour, but we will happily book your high speed train tickets to and from Avignon.
