Versailles Day Trip From Paris Details

The sheer size and grandeur of Versailles has to be seen to be appreciated. "Living like a king" is hardly adequate. Covering over 2000 acres, with 230 acres of formal gardens and with 721,000 square feet of living space, the Palace of Versailles is rightly called the world's largest palace. The Hall of Mirrors and Royal apartments draw hundreds of thousands of visitors each year.

John R. LinkParis.comWhy we love Versailles - The Palace of Versailles is the crown jewel of French castles.  So much history!  It gets very crowded, we recommend using skip-the-line or priority tickets if any way possible.  When you visit, make sure to leave time to visit the enchanting (and less crowded) garden as well. - John
