All About Paris

A few nice moments in Paris…

Visions of Paris

There are hundreds of cafes in the city.  Sitting and watching the pulse of daily Parisian life from one of these chairs is one of the great pleasures of visiting France. The food is often great at these cafes. Avoid the larger chain brands like Hippopotamus if you can (even though they serve pretty good food too).

Paris street signs are usually embedded on the corner of each building at an intersection.  Just look up! No street signs on the corner here. If you want to dig deeper, we found an article in France Today that explores the history of street signs in France.

It is a must visit, but be prepared for a crowd.  The Mona Lisa room at the Louvre… Everybody should see the Mona Lisa in person once in their life.

Paris is wonderful at Christmas.  Make sure to check out the tree at Galeries Lafayette. Prepare to spend some time exploring this historic and iconic department store.

I love how the Eiffel Tower looks in black and white.  Try shooting it with your B&W filter when you visit.

Lastly, our Normandy D-Day Tour from Paris was our best selling product for the 8th year in a row.  Such a great experience. Highly recommended.
