Guided tour of the D-Day Landing beaches:

Description of the guided tour portion of the "2 Day Pass":

Four to five hours round trip with a bilingual guide from the Caen Memorial. Transportation in groups of up to 8 people maximum (larger groups click here) in an air-conditioned mini-van. Includes visits of the following main sites :

• The artificial harbor at Arromanches
• The battery at Longues-sur-Mer
• The American Military Cemetery at Colleville-sur-Mer
• Omaha Beach
• The Pointe du Hoc

Departure times for the D-Day Landing beaches :

• From 10/01/08 to 03/31/09 : One departure per day at 1:00 pm
• From 04/01/09 to 09/30/09 : Two departures per day at 9:00 am and 2 pm

The meeting point for the landing beaches guided tour is five minutes before the scheduled departure time in the main hall of the Caen Memorial near the welcome desk.

Your visit to the Caen Memorial and guided D-Day landing beach tour can be done on the same day or separately.
