Guided tour of the D-Day Landing beaches:

Description of the guided tour portion of the "2 Day Pass":

Four to five hours round trip with a bilingual guide from the Caen Memorial. Transportation in groups of up to 8 people maximum (larger groups click here) in an air-conditioned minivan. Includes visits of the following main Normandy D-day sites :

• The artificial harbor at Arromanches
• The battery at Longues-sur-Mer
• The American Military Cemetery at Colleville-sur-Mer
• Omaha Beach
• The Pointe du Hoc

Departure times for the D-Day Landing beaches :

• From 10/01/11 to 03/31/12: One departure per day at 1:00pm
• From 04/01/12 to 09/30/12: Two departures per day at 9:00am and 2:00pm

The meeting point for the landing beaches guided tour is five minutes before the scheduled departure time in the main hall of the Caen Memorial near the welcome desk. If you are unsure of where to go, just ask a museum representative.

Your visit to the Caen Memorial and guided D-Day landing beach tour can be done on the same day or separately. Some clients prefer to split the two activities into different days.
