ITINERARY:

Arrive in Caen in the morning via mainline rail from Gare St. Lazare in Paris. Our guide will meet you at the rail station.

Next you will visit the Caen War Memorial, afterwards enjoy a buffet lunch in the Memorial cafeteria (included in tour price.)

After lunch prepare for a journey through history as you head to the American sector of the Normandy D-Day landing beaches in semi-private 8 person mini-van.

VISIT THE FOLLOWING SITES:

• The artificial harbor at Arromanches
• The German gun battery at Longues-sur-Mer
• The American Military Cemetery at Colleville-sur-Mer
• Omaha Beach
• The cliffs at Pointe du Hoc

The landing beach tour lasts approximately four to five hours. You will be dropped at the Caen rail station for transfer back to Paris at the conclusion of the landing beach tour. You will arrive back in Paris around 9:00 pm.
