Loire Valley Day Tour - Itinerary #2

Price: $175 ($281 with 2nd Class Rail, $342 with 1st Class Rail)

7:50 am: Depart from the Paris Montparnasse train station and travel to the city of Tours via high speed rail. The comfortable ride is just over 60 minutes.

9:15 am: Your tour departs from the Tours Tourist office promptly at 9:15 am. The tourist office is in front of the train station (3 minute walk.) You’ll ride in an air conditioned, comfortable minibus throughout your day trip visit. Castle admissions are included, and your English speaking driver is also your guide.

The first half of your trip includes the chateaux CHENONCEAU and AMBOISE (click for information on each chateau.)

12:00 pm: Lunch in Amboise. Lunch is included in your tour price.

2:00 pm: Meet at the Amboise Tourist Office for part two of the days activities in which you'll visit the massive CHAMBORD and the charming CHEVERNY.

6:45 pm: Return in air-conditioned minibus to the Tourist Office for transfer back to the Saint Pierre des Corps rail station for a 7:24pm train back to Paris.

Arrive in Paris in time for a late dinner at Montparnasse.
