Champagne Tour Highlights

Tour highlights: Reims cathedral, Mumm champagne cellars, and a tour of a family champagne vineyard.

Start the day with a guided sightseeing tour of the city of Reims, the city of Champagne. Mumm, Veuve Cliquot, Taittinger, Pommery, and many more call Reims home.

After seeing the city, you will visit the Grande Maison de Champagne Mumm for a tour and champagne tasting. Mumm was founded in 1827 and is a leading exporter of high-end French champagnes.

Next it is time for a champagne tasting lunch. Enjoy local specialties as you taste three different champagnes (Blanc de blancs, Blanc de noirs and Rosé).

After lunch you will be embark on a guided tour of the historical Cathedral of Reims. The 13th century Notre Dame de Reims Cathedral is a UNESCO World Heritage site and the place where every King of France was coronated with the exception of Henry the IV!

Your tour of the Reims area of the Champagne region of France wouldn't be complete without a visit to a vineyard. The final stop on your day trip to Champagne is a visit to the Montagne de Reims family vineyards for a tour and a final champagne tasting.

Train Information

Train leaves Paris at approximately 7:50 a.m. Rail times to be confirmed upon booking.

Tour meets at 9:00 a.m. at the Tourist Office of Reims near the TGV train station. Return to Paris on the 5:30 p.m. train.

Tours run year round on Wednesday and Friday.

Occasionally, last minute or high season rail prices will be higher than the prices listed above. We will always contact you before booking if this is the case.
